Why is it not possible to distinguish particles of a solute from the solvent in the solution

in a true solution it is not possible to detect the solute because solvent has intermolecular space and particles of solute emerged in that space so that we are enable to see solute particles.

whereas solute particles can see in colloidal solution by microscope.
and,also shows Tyndall effect.
