Lifetime: The lifespan of the pea plant is not long as compared to that of human beings. It is short so the characters can be observed more in pea plant but less or none in human beings.
One gene is responsible for a single character in pea plant but this is not true for human beings.
Self pollination keeps the plant genetically pure but in case of human beings it is not so. It is difficult to study the varying characters.
