The readings in the Vernier Caliper are very small, so if we not take it in eye level this may leads error reading.

Explanation:

  • The cuts in the Vernier Caliper are very small, before taking any reading user have to observe properly.
  • There are two main component in Vernier Caliper, main scale and Vernier scale, these two gives very accurate small values. But if there is any error in the instrument or if users observation is not good then it leads to an incorrect reading.
  • If observer will not view Vernier Caliper at eye level, due to parallax effect the observation will not give a correct value.
