Why is it said that "Animals can't live without plants" ?

When green plants make food, they give off oxygen. This is a gas that all animals must breathe in order to stay alive. Without plants, animals would have no oxygen to breathe and would die. People also depend on plants for food.

because herbivores need good and then if they will eat then carnivores and omnivores will get food
