Hey mate ☺

The process of agriculture in which farming is done by cutting and burning of trees is called shifting agriculture.

Why it is called wasteful form?

It increases pollution of the environment.

The destroying of trees may decrease the rain in that area.

Cutting of trees leads to deforestation.

It can also kill the helpful microorganisms present in the soil.
