Why is it that on increasing the wind speed the rate of evaporation increases? ​

It is true that on increasing the wind speed evaporation increase but the wind should be dry it happens because the dry n hot wind (which is most suitable ) increases the rate of absorption of water molecules from the item n as the wind has the tendency to absorbed the water it absorbs or increases the rate of evaporation from it

The rate of evaporation increases with a increase in wind speed because as the wind blows, the takes the water droplets along with it. So, as the speed of wind will increase it will take away the water droplets more faster . So, the rate of evaporation increases.
