Why is it that the closer a planet is to the sun, the faster it orbits or goes around the sun? ​

Explanation:

The gravitational pull of sun is greater to the near planets . So, the velocity of pull increases and yet converted to circular motion.....

thats why , nearer the planet, higher the velocity.
