Why is it that the difference between the rotation of day and night hardly felt at kanyakumari but it so in Kashmir?

Kanyakumari is situated near the equator and the places near the equator have almost equal duration of day and night . In Kashmir, the difference is of 5 hours because it is far away from the equator.

here is ur ans....

since kanyakumari is situated in south near equator and kashmir in the north so there is a large difference of rotation of day and night but the clock shows same time bcoz of standard meridian of india which shows same time all over the india....!!!
