why is it that when you tickle yourself, you do not have a feeling of laughing but when someone else tickles you, you have the feeling of laughing?

It is because you can feel yourself doing it and you are aware how you can tickle yourself . The brain generates our movements and it doesn't come as a surprise. Whereas when others tickle us , the sensation comes as a surprise.
