Tutankhamun Was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty (ruled c. 1332–1323 BC in the conventional chronology), during the period of Egyptian period known as the new period or the new kingdom so king Tutankhamun was called as king tut in this modern world because I think his name was so long to call so they nicknamed him. Tutankhamun means "Living Image of Amun. He is possibly also the Nibhurrereya of the Amarna letters, and likely the 18th dynasty king Rathotis according to Manetho an ancient historian Tutankhamun was the son of Akhenaten (formerly Amenhotep IV)

As a prince, he was known as Tutankhamen, he ascended the throne at age of nine or ten he married his half sister Ankhesenpaaten, who later changed her name to Ankhesenamun. They had two daughters one daughter died in the womb only. Although there is some speculation that Tutankhamun was assassinated, the consensus is that his death was accidental A CT scan taken in 2005 showed that he had suffered a compound left leg fracture shortly before his death, and that the leg had become infected. DNA analysis conducted in 2010 showed the presence of malaria in his system, leading to the belief that malaria and Köhler disease II combined led to his death.

Answer:

hope you are satisfied with the answer

Explanation:

King Tutankhamun (or Tutankhamen) ruled Egypt as pharaoh for 10 years until his death at age 19, around 1324 B.C. Although his rule was notable for reversing the tumultuous religious reforms of his father, Pharaoh Akhenaten, Tutankhamun's legacy was largely negated by his successors.
