literacy rate is high among males in India because earlier citizens of India didn't gave importance in education of a girl child and just prefered to educate the boys
because 90% are of gawar mentality

because at that time no one was known with the power of women and no one tries to empower women

because of our mentality as the people still see female child as a burden. irony is that india is typically and scientifically gawar.
