Longitude is an imaginary line which has a lot of importance in geography. It helps in finding the correct location of any regions. Also it helps in expecting other information such as the average temperature, rainfall, and vegetation of that place. In 17th- 18th century, this line helps the traders to locate their trading place. With the help of this line, we can ding the distance of any place from equator which give us the information about temperature of that region. The exact time of sunrise and sunset at any area can be found by this line.
