There are two many things behind this. But, first of all we need to know about “Manure” and “Fertilizers”.

➤ Now we are going to explain about manure first:

Manure is organic matter, mostly nascent from animal feces except in the case of green manure, which can be used asorganic fertiliser in farming. Manures contribute to the fertility of the soil by adding organicmatter and nutrients, suchas nitrogen, that are trapped by bacteria in the soil.

Higher organisms then feed on the fungi and bacteria in a chain of life that comprisesthe soil food web. It is also a product obtained after decompositionof organic matter like cowdung which replenishes the soil with essential elements and add humus to the soil.

With the cost of fertiliser increasing, the manure produced by a livestock operation is often considered an additional source of income for an operation, rather than an expense. Putting a dollarvalue for manure can also help in decision-making for manure transactions and livestock expansions.

There are threetypes of manure

:Human manure, Green manure, Animal manure

➤ Now we are going to explain aboutFertilizers

Fertilizers are food for plants.Fertilizer helps farmers feed our growing population. Plants require 17 essential nutrients in thesoil to survive and to grow. Fertilizers help replenish these nutrientsafter each harvest.

Nitrogen, phosphate, potassium andsulphur, are the four most important nutrients for high crop yields and sustainable food production.

Manure has been used for centuries as a fertilizer for farming, as it isrich in nitrogenand other nutrients which facilitatethe growth of plants. Manureis most commonly available non-chemical fertilisers on the market at low cost. It also contains smaller amounts of other important nutrients.

That’s why more farmers use more manure.Farm
