Mathematics is the only field of science which is not truly motivated by applications and is, in a sense pure. And yet it is vastly applied in all the other sciences. Neither of physics chemistry or biology use one of the others as much as mathematics.That is why,Maths known as "The queen of Science".

Perhaps because mathematics is the language of any science. It's nearly impossible or extremely difficult to explain any natural phenomena without usage of mathematics.In fact , an entire branch of Biology is dedicated to understanding biological phenomena with use of mathematical modelling and that field is called "Mathematical Biology".
