MRP is the highest price which can be charged for the product...
However retailers may sell products in lesser price... It is printed on products so that shops do not charge costumers over MRP....

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER !!!

MRP ( Maximum Retail Price ) is the maximum price at which any product is sold although, dealers may also sell them at lower rates but cannot exceed MRP ( Maximum Retail Price ).
It is printed on products to maintain the constancy of goods in different areas and retailers may not charge more than MRP. However, dealers can also sell the the goods at lower price.
