1. The medieval period in the history of India depicts the emergence of many great empires, for instance, the Sultanate period and the Mughal empire, that brought many cultural, political and architectural changes with them.
2. During the course of time, society developed, yet their distinctiveness became apparent in Indian society.
3. Economic changes took place, for instance, this was the time during which the trade of India flourished.
