Why is modern periodic table considered to be more advancetage
than Mendeleev periodic table?

the modern periodic table is more advantageous than Mendeleev's periodic table becuz :

1) hydrogen which resembles alkali metal and halogens have been given a correct place in the periodic table

2) in Mendeleev's periodic table he could not assign places to isomers but in the modern periodic table they were given correct places

In modern periodic table the physical and chemical properties of elements are the periodic functions of the electronic configuration s of their atoms.

But in Mendeleev periodic table it is of atomic weights.anomalos series of Mendeleev periodic table are limitations.for example tellurium precedes iodine.

These limitations are not in modern periodic table.
