Why is mother teresa called the saint of the gutters?
Answers
hey here is ur ans .......
Mother Teresa has spent most of her life in helping the poor and sick abandoned in road sides and gutters. The situation in Calcutta was terrible especially in slum areas.
Old and sick people were living in streets and gutters. Many of them were even eaten by rates. Many had wounds on their body and still covered by dust and mud.
Mother Teresa took them, many a times carried them to a building, washed them, covered them with good cloth. She treated them with what all facilities were available for them. Most of them were beyond a recovery stage. She wanted them to experience the love of Jesus at least before they die. Many asked Mother Teresa ‘Are you God’; it speaks about how they felt the loving touch of Mother Teresa.
