Neutrino is something whose mass is considered next to zero. It easily passes through matter. Also when a supernova occurs in a star large neutrino bursts are fired out of the core which are detected by our sensitive equipment on Earth. As neutrinos never deviate from their path and are never absorbed these are used as a means of communications.
