challenges means the difficulties faced by the  democracy . although democracy has been accepted as the best form of government in the modern world. yet it has its own problems.
the most important challenge is that the unequality among the people.many of the poor people do not get votes or they have to sell their votes because of necessities like food.
 it is also one of the greatest challenges in a democratic form of government is ensuring that the electorate is well educated and engaged.
the other big challenge for the democracy is about casteism . this problen is mainly faced in indian democracy .
the role of anti-social elements has increased very much during the elections. voters are coerced to vote for a particular candidate or party. rigging also takes place during the elections.
