Law of Inertia it's also called Newton's first law of motion simply stated it means an object in motiontends to stay in motion or an object at rest tends to stay at rest unless the object is acted upon by an unbalanced force.
And the same is the inertia that is the resistance of any physical object to any change in its position and state of motion. This includes changes to the object's speed, direction, or state of rest.
