Nitrogen helps the plants to grow many parts in it like the leaves and also it helps in the growing of the fruits and the flowers in it. The plants need many nutrients like nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium in larger quantities. The nitrogen gas in the high ratio in our atmosphere but the plants cannot acquire the nitrogen directly they depend on other ways like the nitrogen cycle and in some plants like pea family they have a symbiotic relationship to acquire nitrogen but other plants depend on the nitrogen cycle and even now a days farmers are using artificial fertilizers which are high in the rate of nitrogen and other salts needed for the plants.
