Why is osmotic pressure of 1M KI is higher than 1 M urea solution ?

Since van't Hoff factor for KI is 2 and that for urea is 1.

And colligative properties is directly proportional to number of particles.

osmotic pressure of 1M KCl is higher than 1M urea solution . ... KCl ionises into K+ and Cl - thus generating two particles, where as Urea does not ionise at all. Since Osmotic Pressure is a colligative property that depends on the number of particles , KCl has higher Osmotic pressure.
