Hey,

Otto Von Bismarck was the architect of "German Unification" because of the following reasons:-

1) In 1848, the educated middle class groups took out popular uprisings for the formations of unified Germany out of all German regions guided and governed by a parliament.

2) Their demands were suppressed by monarchy , military and the Junkers of Prussia.

3) After this, Prussia took the responsibility of uniting Germany.

4) Prussia's chief minister Otto Von Bismarck was the chief architect of this process.

5) With the help of Prussian army and bureaucracy there were 7 wars that ended with Prussian victory.

6) In January 1871, in the Hall of Mirrors of Palace of Versailles Kaiser William I of Prussia was declared as king of New German Empire.
