the atp is formed in two ways i.e in mitochondrial and in cytoplasm when it is formed in cytoplasm it is an anaerobic process which gives only 2molecules of atp
but when it is formed in mitochondria it gives 38 molecules of atp it is aerobic process
but aerobic process undergoes on the presence of oxygen.
therefore........
