Why is parallax method not useful for measuring the distance of star more than hundred light years away?

It is due to because when we measure the things for example when we do stellar observation so called stellar parallax the far we measure the component of angle become very less for example 0.0000035 ° somewhat and we currently dealing with this type of technology can't measure this sort of minute calculation and hence it seems infinity to the answer.. Thus we use shift methods in order to find the distance between farther galaxies and stars
