Aerrenchyma is a type of parenchyma which is found in aquatic plants to provide buoyancy .

chlorenchyma is also a type of parenchyma where chlorophyll is present .

Parenchyma is regarded as a permanent tissue as they have lost their capacity to divide. They may be living or dead. parenchyma cells are alive at maturity. They function in storage, photosynthesis, and as the bulk of ground and vascular tissues.

The two special types of tissues are chlorenchyma and aerenchyma. Chlorenchyma - If the parenchyma tissue contains chloroplasts and are called chlorenchyma, which help in photosynthesis.
