One civic problem faced by our family is drug abuse that needs attention. My brother and I have been victimized and subjected to drug use and abuse. A few weeks ago we moved to a new neighborhood where we made new friends as we were playing at the park. It was then that my brother met, Farid, his new friend who introduced him to eating 'weed' cookies and consuming alcohol. At first, it seemed like a good idea, but now my brother can't do without smoking cannabis, he has also developed a drinking habit. Since then, his performance has dropped, and I believe that it is this new behavior that's is causing the issue. His addiction has caused cravings for more, which creates changes in the brain. Our parent, however, perceives that he may be in bad terms with his girlfriend who left him due to his behavior. It is therefore essential to look after him to help him to stop his use of drugs.
