Petroleum is produced from dead and deccaying matters under the water surface.It takes enourmous time that is million of yrs to form petroleum,hence it is an exhaustible resource.

Whereas air is found wherever u go ,Air is filled in our environment.Though the needed gases are decreasing in amount from air .Air is inexhaustible
