why is Petroleum as we know is a non-renewable natural resource. Write alternate means of energies which could help in conserving this resourse?

Bcz petroleum is formed millions of Years ago by dead plants and animals. It form under the great heat pressure abs in the absence of oxygen. It is non renewable Bcz it take millions of year ago so, it is considered as non renewable. Instead of this we can use non conventional sources of energy such as solar energy, tidal energy and biogas etc.
