phenol is not solid at room temperature.Because:

  1. It has hydrogen bonding which means it has more attractive forces.
  2. An important reason is that it has resonance structures

due to these important resons phenol exist as solid at room temperature.

Comparison with alcohol

Rather alcohol  also have hydrogen bonding but does not exist as solid at room temperature.

because it does not have resonance structure.
