photosynthesis is a reaction in which energy like sunlight and chlorophyll is utilised therefore it is endothermic .

and in respiration in exothermic becoz oxidation of glucose releases energy

\bold{Answer}

\boxed{\textbf{Photosynthesis}}

The complex process by which green plants synthesis their own food with the help of carbon dioxide, sunlight and water is termed as Photosynthesis.

It is an endothermic process because heat is absorbed in the process.

{6CO2\:+\:12H20---->C6H12O6\:+\:6H2O\:+602}

The equation clearly shows us that the raw materials for photosynthesis are carbon dioxide, water and the heat energy is absorbed via sunlight.

Hence, it is an endothermic reaction.

\boxed{\textbf{Respiration}}

The process of oxidation of nutrients at cellular level.

It occurs in the presence of specific enzymes at certain temperature in the cells to release energy for various activities.

{Food\:+\:Oxygen---->carbon\:dioxide\:+\:water\:energy}

This equation states that energy is being released.

The food is taken up by human beings is broken into glucose.

The glucose is slowly oxidised to release heat energy.

Hence, Respiration is an exothermic reaction.
