why is pi ar irrational number even thou i can be expressed as p/q

π is a irrational number because it was a value of π=22/7 then, 22/7 divided then answer is 3.1428571429 it is not terminating
terminating decimal is a rational number is a form of p/q then q is not equal 0
non terminating decimal is a irrational number
