Why is polyester not suitable for summer wear ?

To put it in layman’s terms, polyester don’t absorb sweat and makes you feel uncomfortable quickly and that is the last thing you would want in summer. Polyester isn’t a “breathable” fabric i.e. it doesn’t allow the wetness (created out of sweat) to evaporate. You can surely look fabric blend like Poly-cotton. However, with technological advancement, there are 100% poly fabric that absorb sweat and evaporates (All t-shirts made for sports are 100% poly). However, such fabrics are not available for shirts.
