This is bcoz rainwater directly comes from the condensation of water droplets. The evaporation to form clouds leaves behind all the impurities and forms a cloud, and then water directly comes to the earth in the form of rain...
BUT rainwater is no more considered as the purest form of water..coz of acid rains..due to pollution, toxic and chemical wastes...

It is because it directly come from from the condensation of cloud leaving the impurities behind
