Rajasthan is called as the museum of minerals because there are a lot of minerals we get easily and in 'sufficient' amount.  

Explanation:

'Minerals' found in 'Rajasthan' is the 'sole producer' of 'lead & zinc conc', 'calcite, selenite' and 'wollastonite' and almost all the 'production' of 'ochre, silver', 'steatite, and gypsum'. But Rajasthan is rich in lead and zinc.  

The number of minerals found in Rajasthan is 43 major minerals and 28 'minor minerals'.
