Reproduction is a processes in which an organism creates copy of its own by sexual or as asexual means.
Reproduction helps a species to live forever by creating their own copies. This way they save their genes from getting lost.
Reproduction also produces variation because certain changes occur during reproductive process and hence the new born has some useful variation.
For this reason human beings reproduce.
During sexual intercourse, the interaction between the male and female reproductive systems results in fertilization of the woman's ovum by the man's sperm.
