Sheep is domesticated in ladakh as the climate of the place is extreme with highly cold temperatures, people of ladakh will need wool in large quantities. So domesticating a sheep will lend them wool that is 100% good quality. Also there is enough grass available for a herd of sheep to feed on. Hence sheep is a herbivorous and very much depended on green leaves get to feed on green leaves and also people over there will get wool directly from the source.
