The small intestine in herbivores is longer than in carnivores because herbivores eat only plants and grass unlike carnivores eat meat. So, since grass and green pants have so much cellulose in it, it takes so much time to get digested. Hence, their small intestine is designed in this way.

Hope it helps you buddy!

It is because herbivores eat only plants and plants contain cell wall which is made up of cellulose, so it takes time to digest cellulose, however carnivores eat animals which do not have cellulose and thus takes less time to digest it and have short small intestine compared to herbivores.
