Meat, being mostly protein, is easy to digest.
Plants, being mostly cellulose, are hard do digest.

So it takes longer time to digest plants, and herbivores need longer intestines

SMALL INTESTINE IN HERBIVORES IS LONGER THAN IN CARNIVORES COZ HERBIVORES TAKE IN MOSTLY PLANTS THESE CONTAINS CELLULOSE SO ITS HARD TO DIGEST THESE CELLULOSE.WHEREAS CARNIVORES TAKE IN MEAT SO ITS VERY EASY TO DIGEST THATS THE REASON HERBIVORES HAVE LONGER SMALL INTESTINE THAN IN CARNIVORES.
