sodium is a metal because it occupied space while carbon is non metal because it folws in air

● Carbon atom does not show the activity as above.


◆◆● Sodium makes strong base named sodium hydroxide by reacting with water.
● Carbon makes weak acid named carbonic acid by reacting with water.
