Why is sodium more reactie than sulphur?

Sodium ( Na ) is more reactive than sulphur ( S ) coz......
Valency of Na -> 1
Valency of S -> 2
[ Valency is the no. of electrons in the outermost orbit of an atom which can be taken, given out or shared by an atom. ]
Here, Na has to give out only 1 electron so we can also say that it's quite eager to do that and that's why it is more reactive. But the valency of S is 2 which means that it wants to give out 2 electrons from its outer shell so it will take a bit more time to do so and so it's less reactive then Na.
