-Soil forms the solid ground on which all the living organism thrive.
-For human we need soil for farming,building home etc etc.
-For plant it needs for there growth and nourishment.
-A numerous element/mineral is extracted from soil-Silica etc.
-Soil combined with air and water forms the basis of all sort of life forms,from fungi,bacteria to all the big mammals live on it.
-Contributes directly and indirectly as source of food.
