why is solar energy called the'resource of future'?

Because it is a renewable resource it cannot be finished in the future.

ANSWER :

Solar Energy is a renewable resource. The Solar energy which we get from sun is free of cost and unlimited. They are inexhaustible source of Energy. So they can be used in future for various purpose. Hence they are called as the 'resource of future'.
