1.Land holding in India are of very small size. Due to the increasing population the availability of land is very low. The land - holding is also scattered.
2. Most of the Indian farmers are very poor. They do not have the amount to pay the due of the products they buy to do their agricultural practice.
3. Some farmers in the village have large families, so the crop they grow are sometimes used up for their own benefits resulting in a small quantity of output to be sold in the market.
