sulphuric acid is stronger acid compared to caboxylic acid the main reason being the more stable sulphonate so3 - iron due to the extra oxygen atoms bonded to it compare to the co2- ion . sulphonic acid is stronger than carboxylic acid because of three oxygen in so3h .
