Britishers are the first who startedSunday from 1843 as a holiday in India because In Christianity, God creat this world in 6 days,and sunday he took rest. Christian Prays in Church everySunday. So,for Pray in Church Sunaday is holiday in Christianity.
According to Christianity God created the world in 6 days and on the 7th day he took rest i.e. Sunday

According to the christian faith, the God created the world after working 6 days countinously and took rest on seventh day i.e. Sunday
➡Then in 1843 Sunday was Declared as off day and it was adopted by around the world.
Britishers are responsible for making sunday as off day in INDIA too.
