Television considered as an idiot Box because of the following reasons:
1. The increase or enhance in violent behaviour of kids is caused due to television.
2. Some studies have given a list of bad effects of excessive television watching.
3. It can affect our critical thinking to a detrimental level and change our personality.
4. Further with 3D television, the depth perception in children is greatly affected.
It should be replaced by a book shelf instead as books enhance our:
1. Critical thinking
2. Creativity
3. Logical thinking
4. Knowledge
