Rajasthan is near equator so it received direct rays from the sun
In Jammu and Kashmir it is cold because sun rays can't reach there

Rajasthan is located in the deset region where hot winds called loo blow. So the sand which blows about increases temperature.
Pahalgam is locate d in the Himalayas, where the sun's rays are slanting. So not much heat reaches the ground.
Thus, temperature in Rajasthan is 50 Degrees Celsius while temperature in Pahalgam is 20 Degrees Celsius.
