The human circulatory system is a double circulatory system. It has two separate circuits and blood passes through the heart twice: the pulmonary circuit is between the heart and lungs. the systemic circuit is between the heart and the other organs.

When the blood goes through heart to gills 40 purpose of verification that blood will be distributed to the different different parts of the body in this way only one cardiac cycle is completed hence it is known as single circulation.

While in double circulation, there two ways for transformation of blood that is one for oxygenated blood and other for deoxygenated blood. As in humans first deoxygenated blood goes to lungs and then by the help of oxygen blood is oxygenated.

And then again it is returned back to the heart. Then the oxygenated blood is supplied to the different parts of the body this is the reason why blood circulation in humans known as double circulation.
